My scullery
The shelving went into our scullery last week, so yay, the kitchen is now all finished. I thought you might like to see some photos. They are a bit blurry because I forgot to turn off the micro switch, but they give you the general idea. I am so delighted with how it has turned out. All the under bench pull outs house our food and supplies which leaves the shelving for things like books, more awkward kitchen pieces etc.
Behind those glass roller doors are my food processor and cake mixer and also the toaster, jug, toasted sandwich maker etc. Initially I was a bit nervous that I wouldn’t have enough space for all of my cook books, but I have so much space and more! I did a count and I have about 180 cook books. I love when other people post photos of their book collections and I can have a look at any titles that interest me, so if you have any questions about any of my books, post a comment.

Oh Tammy - that looks absolutely brilliant - no wonder you are so excited. I just have 1 concern - how will you ever go to work? I'd be permanently in there. And what a personal library. I'm so happy for you. You have patiently waited so long for all this to all come together. Hugs Raewyn

I love your scullery Tammy, I dont how you will get any work done. I love the cook books. Do you have any NZ cook books like Edmonds, Alison Holst etc?
Hi Zeetra
I do hve the edmonds book and about 4 Alison Holst ones, including her big red book which is actually my husband's. to be honest though, I am not a big Alison Holst fan - I do like her vegetarian book thoughh and used to use that heaps

What a fabulous kitchen - so light and bright and airy, and well worth the wait. You'd laugh if you saw my dark little kitchen.
Wow, you did a great job with your new kitchen! I love all that shelf space. It will be hard to get you out of the kitchen now (but we'll all enjoy reading about your cooking and baking!)
Tammy, looks really great, can we see what your actual kitchen looks like? Cheers, Chris B
